The job holder will assist in implementing corporate policies and practices and to provide local legal support to the businesses in Asia-Pacific.

Key accountabilities:

To provide legal advice and support to businesses in Asia-Pacific consistent with relevant legislation and corporate policies.
To actively participate in business projects.
To assist in implementing corporate policies and to provide internal legal training based on business needs.
To cooperate with the local businesses in Asia-Pacific and to liaise with the corporate legal department in Finland.
To proactively advise business heads of the businesses in decisions with legal consequences and takes care of legal analyses to support these decisions.
To deal with legal claims and conflicts with internal/external parties.
Job Requirements:

Law degree/Barisster of Law
Preferably 5-10 years experience within law firm or international company
Strong knowledge of Chinese law and exposure to Chinese law cases
Expertise in contracts and corporate legislation
Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English
Strong communication, analytical and influencing skills
Ability to work in a matrix organisation
Frequent travelling is required throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
