Lexis Teams Up With Guardian Law In The UK

LexisNexis UK is  announcing that it will be partnering with Guardian Law to offer  as they say ... access to a selection of specialist content from one of the most authoritative sources of legal materials in the UK.

We are told that the partnership will enable readers to gain access to law reports, comprehensive legal content, legal updates, analysis on legal topics as well as self service legal documents and the ability to find and instruct a solicitor.

Launched in June 2010, Guardian Law online attracts audiences of more than 300,000 users per month and is designed to appeal to both lawyers and consumers. LexisNexis will be providing content to the site of relevance to both sets of readers sourced from the LexisNexis portfolio.

Josh Bottomley, Managing Director of LexisNexis UK, said:  “We are delighted to be working closely with the Guardian on a range of strategic developments over the coming months. What is particularly exciting is that this alignment brings together two world-class partners combining the Guardian’s news website with the authority of LexisNexis legal content to provide a new and valuable resource for both professionals and consumers looking for authoritative legal information.”

Afua Hirsch, Editor of Guardian Law, said: “We are tremendously excited about partnering with LexisNexis. The Guardian is a leading global newspaper with a massive online reach and LexisNexis is a leading global publisher of legal content. We are delighted to be able to offer our readers access to law reports and the range of authoritative legal content and premium services for which LexisNexis is renowned.”
